2025 Clean Show Report: Offer Up in Orlando (Part 1)

An expanded look at product intros, special announcements and more

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Clean Show 2025 drew record-breaking attendance here since the COVID pandemic, nearly 400 exhibitors, and a strong education program on and off the show floor, Messe Frankfurt Inc. states in its final show report.

Boasting the strongest attendance since 2019 — the final report didn’t list a total but partner association Textile Care Allied Trades Association pegged it at “over 11,000” in a post-show email blast — it marked the industry’s most powerful return to in-person engagement in years.

“The energy at The Clean Show 2025 was electric — from the packed sessions and busy show floor to the excitement around the first Innovation Awards,” says Greg Jira, group show director, Messe Frankfurt Inc. “The record attendance demonstrates the resilience and forward momentum of our industry. We’re already looking forward to delivering an even bigger and better Clean Show in 2027.”

This American Coin-Op report represents only a sampling of exhibitors and the products/services shown or described at Clean 2025. With hundreds of companies in attendance, this multi-part article isn’t intended to be all-encompassing.

CURBSIDE LAUNDRIES

Curbside Laundries showcased its redesigned user interface, highlighting faster order processing, smoother workflows, and full access from any internet-enabled device.

The company previewed a Wash and Fold Subscriptions feature to boost customer loyalty and recurring revenue, along with an Auto Route Fill-Up tool that texts customers links to book pickups in two taps — reducing friction and increasing orders.

New accountability tools, such as the Driver Activity Report, track delivery performance with detailed timestamps. Curbside also demonstrated hardware integrations with Card Concepts Inc. (CCI) and Laundry Boss that will allow attendants to start washers and dryers directly from the Curbside app.

This streamlines the wash-and-fold process, ensures the optimal machine mix for each order, and prevents attendants from starting machines for personal reasons.

“We were excited to connect with so many industry professionals and showcase how our software is evolving to further help laundromats grow their wash-and-fold businesses,” says Co-founder Matthew Simmons. “The response has been overwhelming.”

EASTERN FUNDING

Eastern Funding made a strong impression with a large team of loan officers and executives, including newly appointed CEO Nancy Robles, on hand to guide owners and investors through financing options.

“We have always been focused on and invested in the operator,” Robles says. “By financing one’s business, we’re investing in their dream. We’ve really focused on efficiency, turnaround time and meeting expectations, but now we want to go beyond that. We want to create a great customer experience … we want to partner in their entire journey.”

The lender co-sponsored several CLA events — including a pre-show bus tour of local laundromats, education sessions, and the 65th Anniversary reception — and team members volunteered at the LaundryCares Foundation’s free laundry day.

Co-founder Brian Grell was easy to spot throughout the show, whether at CLA/LaundryCares activities or his “Zombiemat”-themed presentation at the Cents booth.

Eastern showcased its broad range of financing solutions for laundry businesses, including Xpress-App, its simplified financing program for vended laundry equipment. With a special show rate, experienced laundry owners could access up to $500,000 in app-only financing.

PAYRANGE

From a mobile payment solution for route and multi-family housing laundry operators to all-in-one business management platforms for attended and unattended laundromats, PayRange offers a full suite of software solutions tailored for vended laundry.

We’ve an innovative company, so there are always new things we’re working on throughout the year,” says CEO Paresh Patel. “But one of the things we highlighted at this show was our micro kiosk, which is just a small, 5-inch kiosk for route laundry operators, especially, for hotels, college campuses, and other smaller rooms where a larger kiosk might not make sense.”

It’s a self-contained unit with a variety of connectivity options, Patel says, and is Android-based so it can be easily updated with improved functionality over time.

The company’s booth drew strong traffic throughout the show. “You can only do so much over Zoom,” Patel adds. “Looking someone in the eye and building that connection in person is really impactful.”

ALLIANCE LAUNDRY SYSTEMS

Alliance Laundry Systems unveiled what it says is the industry’s largest stack tumble dryer, as well as a cashless payment technology that doesn’t require an app download.

The new stack 55-pound tumbler — reported to be 10% larger than competing models — offers dual 55-pound drying pockets in the same footprint as the previous 45-pound model. Designed to complement growing demand for larger washer-extractors up to 100 pounds, it helps owners boost throughput and revenue, says Craig Madson, vice president of North America Commercial. Units are available through Huebsch and Speed Queen distributors.

The Scan-Pay-Wash system eliminates bolt-on card readers and app requirements. Customers simply scan a QR code, pay using credit card or mobile payment source, and start the machine, with an option to join the loyalty app afterward. The feature is an industry first, says Joe Hainline, chief technology officer: “Our goal is to always innovate with purpose.”

Scan-Pay-Wash is available through Speed Queen Insights and Huebsch Command.

STANDARD CHANGE-MAKERS

Standard Change-Makers  unveiled its new MC700-TALL Series — an enhanced cabinet design that solves a long-standing issue in front-load change machines: how to accommodate next-generation hoppers without sacrificing coin capacity.

When Standard introduced its advanced K5000 hoppers, their angled bottom engineered for superior cash flow and reliability required a taller housing. To fit them beneath the bill acceptors, many models had to reduce hopper capacity.

The taller cabinet accommodates K5000 hoppers, engineered for improved cash flow and reliability, enabling 3,200- or 5,200-quarter capacities per hopper. Standard models include the MC700-TALL, MC720-TALL, and MC720-DA-TALL, offering configurations with one or two bill acceptors and up to two hoppers.

Operators told us they wanted more capacity without moving up to a much bigger cabinet,” says Mike Coons, vice president of sales and marketing. “The MC700-TALL delivers exactly that — a smaller-footprint, front-load machine with the durability of 11-gauge steel, secure cabinet design, and coin capacities that make a real difference in daily operations.”

The company is also developing a remote-access app to let owners reset machines, run diagnostics, and force-vend coins while off-site, with release expected by the end of 2025.

KLOPP INTERNATIONAL

KLOPP International arrived ready to demonstrate its wide range of money-processing equipment, including time-tested coin counters and sorters. The company also distributes KISAN currency-processing products such as discriminators, sorters and smart safes.

It’s been a great show,” says President Dan Nelson. “We’ve been able to show people how we’ve been able to streamline their money-processing needs, from processing quarters and mixed coins, either bulk-counting quarters for replenishing bill changers, sorting their mixed coins from their coin acceptors.

In addition to the coin-handling equipment, we also have currency sorters and discriminators that are able to count mixed money, flip the heads and face it as well as sort it in separate bins with full counterfeit detection.”

Nelson sees his company’s participation in Clean as vital: “We noticed the big difference when we had the extra year delay in between shows. We wish it was (staged) every year, and we’re going to find other (promotional) avenues to fill in the gaps between the big shows.”

The importance of having face-to-face contact with customers can’t be understated, he adds: “It’s very important for our customers to be able to see and touch and feel the equipment to see how it works.”
