Connected equipment, pricing fuel manufacturer’s continued momentum

RIPON, Wis. — Commercial laundry equipment manufacturer Alliance Laundry Systems reports strong first-quarter 2026 financial results, citing broad-based growth across all end markets and geographies, continued operational discipline, and momentum in connected equipment adoption.

Alliance posted first-quarter net revenues of $427 million, up 10% year over year. Volume contributed approximately 3% of the increase, with the remainder driven primarily by pricing actions and foreign exchange.

Net income increased to $57 million, compared to $17 million a year earlier, while adjusted net income climbed nearly 85% to $63 million. Adjusted EBITDA rose 9% to $109 million, representing a 25.5% margin.

“Building on Alliance’s strong 2025, our first quarter reinforced what we’ve been talking about since becoming a public company: that a resilient, replacement-driven, essential industry; a market-leading position; and disciplined operational excellence deliver strong, sustainable outcomes,” says CEO Michael Schoeb.

In North America, revenue increased 9% to $320 million, supported by growth across all end markets. The company says its on-premise laundry segment benefited from predictable replacement demand, while commercial-in-home products continued outperforming the broader industry.

International revenue also increased 10% to $107 million, led by strong performance in Europe and continued growth in Asia Pacific markets.

Alliance highlighted growth in its connected equipment initiatives, reporting more than 250,000 connected machines in operation at quarter’s end. The company’s Scan/Pay/Wash cashless payment platform, which doesn’t require customers to download an app, processed more than 100,000 transactions during March alone.

The company also completed its second New York distributor acquisition during the quarter, marking its 17th U.S. acquisition since 2019. The tuck-in acquisition strengthens distribution of its Speed Queen, UniMac and Huebsch brands in the Northeast.

Alliance also raised the low end of its full-year 2026 guidance, now expecting revenue growth of 6-7% and adjusted EBITDA growth of 7-8%.
