EVI Industries Reports Record Third-Quarter Financials

From just 32 employees to 32 businesses, 900 associates in decade’s time

MIAMI — Commercial laundry equipment distributor EVI Industries reported record third-quarter revenue and gross profit as the company advances operational modernization and long-term growth initiatives across its expanding North American network.

For the quarter ended March 31, EVI posted record revenue of $101.1 million, up 8% year over year, while gross profit increased 17% to a record $32.8 million. Gross margin reached a record 32.5%. Operating income remained flat at $2.3 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased 11% to $5.6 million, or 5.5% of revenue.

For the first nine months of fiscal 2026, revenue rose 16% to a record $324.7 million, and gross profit climbed 21% to a record $102.2 million. Operating income increased 4% to $10.1 million, while adjusted EBITDA reached a record $20 million.

EVI says revenue growth was driven primarily by acquired businesses, market share gains, and ongoing efforts to strengthen customer relationships and service capabilities. Severe weather disruptions and delays related to customer facility readiness affected the timing of some deliveries and installations during the quarter, the company notes.

Since beginning to implement its long-term growth strategy a decade ago, EVI has evolved from a single-location business in Florida with 32 employees into a North American commercial laundry distribution and service enterprise encompassing 32 businesses and approximately 900 associates, including more than 200 sales professionals and 425 service personnel.

“Over the past decade, EVI has built a significantly larger and more capable enterprise through disciplined acquisitions, operational investment, and a long-term commitment to customer service,” says Chairman and CEO Henry Nahmad.

The company’s focus is increasingly shifting toward operational optimization and enterprise-wide coordination as it matures, he adds.

EVI says it has substantially completed deployment of its ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, field service platform, and business intelligence capabilities, which management believes will support greater scalability, efficiency, and customer responsiveness.

The company reports that service appointments supported by its field service platform increased 9% from the second fiscal quarter to more than 27,500 appointments across more than 10,600 customers. Technician productivity also improved 3% during the period.

During the quarter, EVI completed its acquisition of Belenky Inc., an Akron, Ohio-based distributor of commercial laundry products and related services.
