MIAMI — Commercial laundry and drycleaning distributor EVI Industries has taken action to acquire K&B Laundry Service LLC, a North Carolina-based provider of installation and maintenance services to the industrial and on-premise laundry segments.
Once the definitive agreement closes as expected by mid-September, the 15 highly trained and specialized commercial laundry technicians and support staff added will enhance EVI’s capabilities to its growing customer base across the U.S. Southeast.
Terms of the transaction were not released.
EVI says the addition of K&B is consistent with its long-term growth strategy to build “the largest value-added distributor of commercial laundry products with the most dynamic network of specialized technicians to support commercial laundry customers.”
Once the transaction is complete, EVI will have acquired its 21st commercial laundry business since fall 2016 and continues to be the fastest growing and only publicly listed company devoted to the North American commercial laundry distribution and service industry.
