ByNext Acquires Laundry Angels

Expands clothing, premise care co. into NJ, Philly markets

NEW YORK — Tech-enabled clothing and premise care company ByNext reports that, earlier this summer, it acquired Laundry Angels, a tech-enabled laundry and drycleaning pickup and delivery services company based in New Jersey.

“Laundry Angels has had a great reputation in providing exceptional clothing care services to its customers throughout New Jersey,” says ByNext CEO Kam Saifi, whose New York-based company offers shirt laundering and wash-and-fold laundering among its services. “The acquisition of Laundry Angels is very synergistic for ByNext. It will enable us to rapidly penetrate the New Jersey market with our exclusively eco-friendly clothing care as well as launching our residential cleaning service in the same market.”

Conrad McLean, the founder and CEO of Laundry Angels, is joining the ByNext management team to lead and accelerate the expansion of ByNext services to other markets.

“Conrad has had a successful track record both as an entrepreneur and holding technology executive positions at many large financial institutions,” Saifi says. “My team and I are excited to work with him.”

McLean says after spending two-plus decades working in corporate America and the insurance industry, he saw a trend in the growing demand for laundry services and a lack of efficiencies. It was his goal to deliver an exceptional and scalable laundry service when he started Laundry Angels in 2019.

“Everything changed when the ByNext team approached us,” he says. “Witnessing their impressive capabilities, it quickly became evident that a merger would significantly benefit both ByNext and Laundry Angels’ existing and expanding customer base. Through this merger, we will be able to fulfill long-awaited service requests and introduce innovative solutions to the market.”
