ORLANDO, Fla. — The Clean Show, during its four-day exposition here last week, presented for the first time at the event its Innovation Awards honoring exceptional performance in the fields of research, new materials, products and technologies.
Two of the four category winners featured products for use by self-service, vended laundries.
Laundrylux won the Innovation Award for Best New Product for The Tosei by Electrolux, a combination washer/dryer.
In the Best New Application category, Laundroworks, powered by Cents, won the Innovation Award for WashLynx, a mobile app designed for employees and attendants.
It leverages NFC technology to give employees, technicians, installers and operators better tools for on-floor equipment operations, the company says.
The other category winners were Ecolab Textile Care, for 3D Trasar™ Technology for Effluent, and Shanghai Huayuan Electronic (TEX-BIT), for TEX-BIT AI RFID Digital Textile SaaS Platform.
Honorable mentions were also presented in each category. Those went to Zucchetti Centro Sistemi for the Titan 900 Scrubs Dispenser with Ozone Sanitization (new application); DEMA Engineering Co. for Aurora Plus (new product); Hybridworks Textile Solutions for the Patented Rotating Hydrolysis Reactor (new technology for sustainability); and Girbau/Continental Laundry Solutions for Sortech – Automated Sorting Solution (new technology for automation).
Forty-seven companies entered the competition in the four categories; only companies exhibiting at Clean 2025 were eligible. A jury of experts determined the winners by a simple majority vote.
