Naumann receives one of association’s most prestigious honors

ORLANDO, Fla. — CLA (formerly the Coin Laundry Association) presented its 2025 Awards during Clean Show week in August, acknowledging 14 members for their service to the association and to the coin laundry industry.

Dan Naumann, executive vice president of the LaundryCares Foundation, received the Founder’s Award, considered one of the CLA’s most prestigious honors. It’s meant to recognize an individual’s lifetime contributions to the industry, and is reserved for those considered to be true pioneers in the business and who are directly responsible for the ongoing growth of the industry and of CLA.

Monica Wales earned Member of the Year honors, presented to the single CLA member who has made the most significant contribution during the year to the benefit of CLA, its members and the industry at large.

Sharon Brinks and Jerry Jamgotchian each received the Leadership Award, presented to CLA members who demonstrate leadership through volunteering their talents toward a specific project or effort that serves to benefit the industry.

Yvette Morton-Williams was named Outstanding Director, receiving the award for contributing an extraordinary effort and going the extra mile in her service on the CLA board.

Ali Momin earned the Next Generation Award, presented to an elite laundromat owner who may not yet have years of experience but is leading laundromats that take incredible care of customers and elevate the industry’s image.

Ted Ristaino and Brian Holland were presented the Chair’s Award, presented to CLA board chairs in recognition of their dedicated association service.

Distinguished Service Awards are presented to board members completing their final terms of service to the CLA board. Recipients this year were Todd Fener, Brian Henderson, Dan Marrazzo, Paul Pettefer, Alex Smereczniak and Jennifer Whitney.
