CLA WDF Workshop Heads to Austin This Fall

September event to offer expert-led sessions, networking

OAK BROOK TERRACE, Ill. — Laundry operators looking to grow their wash-dry-fold (WDF), pickup-and-delivery (PUD) and commercial laundry businesses will have an opportunity to learn from industry leaders this fall during CLA’s 2026 WDF Workshop in Austin, Texas.

Scheduled for Sept. 20-22 at the Hilton Austin, the event is billed by organizers as CLA’s largest gathering dedicated to full-service laundry operations. Attendees will have access to educational sessions, networking opportunities and an exhibitor showcase focused on helping operators expand and improve their offerings.

The welcome reception kicks things off the evening of Sept. 20, followed by two days of expert-led sessions.

While the 2026 agenda has yet to be released, past workshops have featured presentations on topics such as scaling WDF operations, route optimization, delivery services, commercial laundry sales, operating procedures, stain removal and business growth strategies.

The workshop will also provide opportunities to connect with suppliers, technology providers and fellow operators.

Anyone interested in attending can save $100 by registering by next Wednesday. The cost will increase for registrants the next day. Also, CLA has secured a block of Hilton Austin rooms at a discounted rate that’s available until Aug. 28.
