Midwest Laundries Expands Offering Through Dexter Partnership

Broadens equipment choices for new stores, retools in Chicago area

CHICAGO — Laundry equipment distributor Midwest Laundries Inc. added Dexter Laundry equipment to its portfolio earlier this year through a new partnership aimed at providing laundromat owners and investors with another equipment option backed by full-service project support.

The agreement strengthens its ability to serve customers throughout the planning, development and long-term operation of self-service laundries, the company says.

Based here, Midwest Laundries stocks Dexter equipment locally to help speed deliveries for new-store developments and retool projects while minimizing downtime. In addition to supplying equipment, the company provides project planning, store design, installation and ongoing service through its in-house teams.

Demand for laundromat ownership continues to attract both experienced operators and first-time investors, Midwest Laundries says, prompting an increased focus on turnkey development services. The distributor supports projects from initial site evaluation and utility planning through equipment selection, installation, testing and post-opening service.

Dexter’s American-made equipment and X-Series touch controls complement Midwest’s approach to helping operators maximize uptime and profitability. Midwest Laundries also highlighted Dexter's equipment warranties and lifetime technical support as additional benefits for store owners.

In conjunction with the partnership, Midwest Laundries says it has expanded educational resources for prospective investors, offering guidance on topics ranging from store layout and utility requirements to day-to-day laundromat operations.
