HappyNest Welcomes New Head of Product and Security

Staden highly experienced in software product management, cybersecurity

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Steve Staden has joined tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest as its new head of product and security, the company reports.

Staden brings over 20 years of experience in software product management and cybersecurity to the company. Prior to joining HappyNest, he served as the senior director of product management at DNSFilter, where he led product management, program management, and UX teams. He successfully delivered capabilities that boosted annual recurring revenue (ARR) and improved customer retention rates.

Staden’s ability to identify market needs, understand customer pain points, and develop innovative solutions has consistently driven business growth, HappyNest says.

He has also held leadership roles at Wind River Payments and Ipswitch. As chief product officer and chief operating officer at Wind River, he led the product management, customer relationship, and operations teams. He spearheaded the launch of Wind River’s ACH capability, completed a comprehensive refresh of its PCI program, and strengthened partnerships with various payment processing partners.

At Ipswitch, Staden played a pivotal role in the evolution of the MOVEit and WhatsUp Gold product lines, positioning them as core components of Ipswitch’s product portfolio before its acquisition by Progress Software.

He has a bachelor of science degree in computer science and finance from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing.

HappyNest believes that Staden’s leadership, experience and strategic vision are poised to drive the service into a new era of growth and success.

“Steve’s vision for innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver top-notch products and services to our customers and laundromat partners,” says John MacKrell, founder and CEO of HappyNest. “We are excited about the new heights HappyNest will achieve with Steve on the team and are confident that his expertise and commitment will propel our growth.”
