HappyNest Continues to Woo Laundromat Partners

Pickup/delivery service adds locations in four states

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest continues to expand, announcing in recent weeks that its services are now available in new locations in California, Illinois, Utah and Arizona.

HappyNest is now available in Palm Desert, California, via new partner Jerlyn Coin Laundry. Based in Cathedral City, the facility is also providing next-day, affordable and eco-friendly pickup and delivery laundry services to Indian Wells, Coachella, La Quinta, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage.

Jerlyn has been in operation for 28 years and is equipped with 20 front loaders, 10 top loaders and other equipment. In addition to utilizing high-efficiency equipment, the company provides reusable laundry bags, recycled hangers, and premium, natural and biodegradable detergents, fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

“We have an outstanding staff who takes special care of our drop-off service customers in Palm Desert and beyond, but we want to make doing laundry as easy as possible for our busy customers,” says Carolyn Peterson of Jerlyn Coin Laundry Inc.

HappyNest service has expanded again in Chicago, now available in East Chicago via new laundromat partner Easy Clean Laundry. The North Kedzie Avenue location has 45 high-efficiency washers and 30 dryers housed in a 4,100-square-foot facility.

“HappyNest was the obvious choice for what our next step in servicing entailed,” says Andrew Fullerton, owner of Easy Clean Laundry. “We launched wash/dry/fold (WDF) service less than one year ago, and now with the support of HappyNest, we are excited to launch and grow pickup and delivery services for the community.”

HappyNest service has expanded in Salt Lake City, Utah, now available in West Jordan via new partner Midvale City Laundromat. The Midvale-based operations are also providing service to residents and businesses in Sandy, Draper, Riverton, South Jordan and Herriman, Utah.

“After two years of offering pickup and delivery, we wanted to take the business to a higher level,” says Luis Castillo of Midvale City Laundromat. “We are happy to now be partnering with HappyNest to help us reach our goals.”

His laundromat is well-equipped for additional pickup and delivery business with 26 washers and 30 dryers in a 4,000-square-foot facility.

HappyNest service has expanded to North Phoenix, Arizona, via its laundromat partner, My Laundry Room, which itself launched in January.

“Prior to partnering with HappyNest, we were not targeting the residential market with pickup and delivery outside of multi-housing complexes,” says Bryan Humphrey, owner of My Laundry Room. “HappyNest is allowing us to expand our business to that market with little effort on our part.”

His 4,000-square-foot location has 78 high-efficiency washers and dryers, making it well-equipped to handle the increased business that comes with the new expanded pickup and delivery service area.

HappyNest says it is attracting laundromats across the country that are looking to increase sales and utilize equipment downtime through pickup and delivery.
