Eastern Funding Adds CEO to Robles’ Title

Has been specialty finance lender’s president since 2022

NEW YORK — Specialty finance lender Eastern Funding LLC has appointed Nancy Robles to the role of CEO. She remains president of the company.

Founder Michael Fanger, who previously served as CEO, remains with Eastern Funding and will focus on the cultivation of new and existing relationships, and mentoring the sales and leadership teams.

In addition to her current responsibilities managing credit policy, risk management, governance, and directing organizational strategy, Robles will also focus on strengthening the company’s relationships with customers and partners and building its brand reputation externally.

“Eastern has been my home for the past 20 years, and my commitment to our colleagues, customers, and business partners remains unwavering,” says Robles, who became company president in 2022. “I am fully dedicated to advancing our mission of excellence across every area of the organization and ensuring we consistently meet and exceed our customers’ needs.”

Her promotion to CEO is part of a long-planned leadership transition. Veteran members of Eastern Funding’s early leadership team, including co-founder Brian Grell and Chief Lending Officer Marc Stern, remain with the company and now focus on mentoring, training, and brand ambassadorship.

“(Nancy) has the leadership experience Eastern Funding LLC needs to maintain and enhance rock-solid relationships with our customers throughout the USA,” says Fanger. “Nancy earned her position by having a long history of outstanding performance in areas critical to our success.

“We would not have become one of the largest bank-owned finance companies nationally without her contribution. We look forward to our continued success with Nancy as president and CEO.”
