PORTLAND, Ore. — PayRange, a provider of mobile payment solutions for unattended retail that includes laundries, reports it has reached a “landmark agreement” with CSC ServiceWorks, the world’s largest commercial laundry operator.
Under the long-term partnership, CSC will retrofit its washers and dryers with PayRange technology, converting the machines into smart, connected assets that can be priced, promoted and managed in real time. The tech is fully integrated with CSC’s One Tap Away consumer app.
After testing “every credible solution,” including building its own, CSC chose to partner with PayRange because it’s the only fully featured platform in the market, says CSC ServiceWorks CEO Rod Castellanos.
“It goes far beyond payment acceptance to deliver real-time revenue management, dynamic pricing, consumer engagement, and deep operational intelligence in one unified solution, exactly what we need to modernize and grow our business,” he says.
Connecting the machines to a unified platform allows CSC to optimize pricing quickly, launch targeted promotions instantly, and deliver mobile convenience, according to the company. It began upgrading its equipment in the first quarter of 2025 and says the deployment will improve convenience for 40 million end users across the United States.
There are 127,000 multi-housing communities and 4,500 laundromats among its customer base, CSC states.
“CSC is widely regarded as the gold standard in commercial laundry,” adds Paresh Patel, founder and CEO of PayRange. “Their decision to partner with PayRange validates a decade of relentless innovation. Together, we will set a new benchmark for revenue management, operational efficiency, and consumer experience across unattended retail.”
