ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — LG Electronics USA reports it will supply its advanced commercial washers and dryers to CSC ServiceWorks, considered the largest provider of technology-enabled laundry services for the multifamily, academic and hospitality markets in North America.
Under a new distribution agreement with CSC, LG aims to further strengthen its presence in the U.S. commercial laundry market and accelerate the growth of its B2B appliance business, according to Sam Kim, president of appliance solutions, LG Electronics USA.
“Commercial laundry represents an important category for LG, and our exciting new collaboration with CSC supports our aggressive B2B growth strategy in the U.S.,” Kim continues. “The combination of LG’s world-class laundry innovations and CSC’s extensive B2B laundry services network will benefit facility operators and end users alike.”
For CSC ServiceWorks, the agreement ensures a stable supply of high-efficiency LG products – all designed to provide easy maintenance and maximum operational efficiency in demanding commercial environments.
“LG’s commitment to quality and leadership in design and technology aligns with our philosophy to make life easier by providing seamless experiences and world-class service to millions of consumers, property managers and owners every day,” says Rod Castellanos, CEO of CSC, which supplies and manages approximately 1.5 million commercial washers and dryers across the U.S. and Canada.
LG commercial laundry solutions incorporate its advanced Inverter Direct Drive™ motor, delivering premium performance, durability and efficiency. The machines also feature 3D Gyro Sensor and Balancing Systems that precisely monitor drum movement to reduce unnecessary motion, vibration and noise.
In the United States, LG’s commercial laundry lineup includes 3.7- to 5.2-cubic-foot washers and 7.3- to 9.0-cubic-foot dryers. Designed for high-usage environments, the units offer fast cycle times, rapid spin initiation and a front-access design that simplifies maintenance, the equipment maker says.
