Strategic Hires Propel Tide Franchise Expansion

Bring decades of experience in franchising, construction, real estate

CINCINNATI — Tide Services, a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, has bolstered its franchise development team through new hires, strengthening its leadership and supporting its goal of becoming the top provider of on-demand laundry services, the company says.

Joining the team in the second half of 2023 were Lawrence Brown, senior vice president, franchising & development; Ryan Stuckenberg, director of construction; and Emilie DeBonadonna, director of real estate.

Brown brings over a decade of executive leadership and development experience, including his roles as chief development officer at Fat Tuesday and VP of business development Americas at Restaurant Brands International.

Stuckenberg’s background is in construction and project management, having overseen over $200 million in projects annually for Luxottica stores across North America.

DeBonadonna brings expertise in real estate development and strategic planning from her previous role as senior manager of development for Burger King.

These professionals joined Director of Franchise Development Emily Schneider, a five-year veteran of Tide Services who has played a pivotal role in the franchise’s growth and success.

The trio have become pivotal to the brand’s growth strategy, Tide says, explaining that their efforts in converting existing drycleaner locations and planning the opening of hundreds of new Tide Laundromat and Tide Cleaners sites over the next two years are accelerating the company’s expansion.

Tide Services’ “roll-up” consolidation strategy capitalizes on what it calls “the fragmented drycleaning and laundromat industries,” strengthening and expanding the iconic Tide brand by building new organic locations and offering successful operators an opportunity to sell.

Tide Services is targeting major national markets while enhancing its presence in existing ones. The franchise development team is actively seeking well-capitalized multi-unit operators to join the network.

Our team’s combined expertise is driving Tide Cleaners and Tide Laundromat to new heights,” says Andrew Gibson, CEO of Tide Services. “Alongside Emily Schneider, the team is crucial to our ambitious expansion plans and our goal of becoming the leading brand in the industry.”
