WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems Opens ‘Think Tank’ for IT Team

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems, provider of laundry facilities management services for multi-housing locations, has recently opened the WASH Technology Center in Rancho Dominguez, Calif., a facility the company says will serve as a “think tank” for its information technology (IT) team.

“Our new Tech Center is an enriched environment where innovation will be the primary focal point,” says John Buccola, WASH’s chief information officer. “We are only one mile from our production facility and 10 miles from corporate headquarters, which gives us proximity to these locations for collaboration with other teams and departments.”

A large Microsoft Perceptive Pixel display greets entrants at the lobby, and the overall design of the space features open work areas and stations for team collaborations.

“You can really feel the buzz of creative energy when you walk through the doors. It’s invigorating,” says Buccola.

In addition to providing a space to foster creativity among its team members, the facility will also be a place to showcase WASH technology to the company’s customers and investors.

The Customer Experience Center in the lobby features interactive displays of coinless card systems, mobile apps and dispatch and routing technologies, according to the company.

“This is a new age for our industry. Our business transcends far beyond the actual laundry room; we are truly transforming the customer experience through our new innovations and technology,” says Buccola.
