WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) is calling on members and interested parties to contact their Senators today to urge them to vote “No” on the Employee Free Choice Act (H.R. 800/S. 1041).TCATA is reporting that the Senate will hold a cloture vote on the bill tomorrow morning, June 26.The proposed legislation would amend the National Labor Relations Act to restrict the right of an employer to request a secret-ballot election for employees in union-organizing activities.
