Maine Couple Named Huebsch Store Owners of Quarter

John and Ceara Templin opened Laundry Lounge a year ago

RIPON, Wis. — Commercial laundry equipment brand Huebsch recently named John and Ceara Templin as its Store Owners of the Quarter.

The Templins opened the Laundry Lounge in Winslow, Maine, a year ago and the store has become a destination for customers, some of whom are traveling more than an hour to use their Huebsch equipment, the Alliance Laundry Systems brand reports.

“John and Ceara embody the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of vended laundry owners,” says Kathryn Rowen, Huebsch North American sales manager. “They decided that by leveraging higher-level technology and elevating the customer experience, Laundry Lounge would quickly become a market leader; and it has.”

The 2,500-square-foot laundry features equipment in a variety of capacities, ranging from 20- to 80-pound washers, as well as 30- and 45-pound stacks and 75-pound tumble dryers. The Templins are also utilizing the latest in technology, with Galaxy 600 controls giving customers the ability to tailor wash cycles, while Huebsch Command helps them monitor their store’s performance.

Also key to their getting a quality start has been their Huebsch distributor, Daniels Equipment Co. of Auburn, New Hampshire. Specifically, Tom Tobiassen from Daniels was integral.

“Tom was great,” John Templin says. “He took care of everything from operational floor space and equipment recommendations to financing. That allowed me to focus on construction and the renovation of the site. I didn’t have to worry about anything except signing paperwork.”

Huebsch has posted the full story, along with a video featuring the Templins and their Laundry Lounge, on its website.
