CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In celebration of National Laundry Day on Tuesday, April 15, LaundroLab is giving back to some local communities it serves by offering free laundry services and family resources at more than half of its locations nationwide.
Laundry is a basic necessity but for many families, gaining access to clean clothing can be challenging, LaundroLab says. Whether it’s busy parents, students needing clean clothes for school, or individuals facing temporary hardship, everyone deserves the confidence and comfort that comes with fresh laundry, the franchise adds.
For four hours on Tuesday afternoon, participating LaundroLab locations across the country will provide free loads of laundry, detergent, and children’s books for families to take home. The initiative is made possible in partnership with sister company 2ULaundry and the LaundryCares Foundation.
“Our mission is to ‘Make Laundry Happy,’” says Jason Lepes, CEO of LaundroLab. “National Laundry Day gives us the opportunity to open our doors and make a difference in the lives of families and individuals who need it most.”
2ULaundry is also supporting through its “Load for Load” initiative: For every bag of laundry it picks up through Saturday, 2U Laundry will give a free load of laundry to families at local LaundroLabs.
