PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico — Two distributors report they were honored for business performance during equipment manufacturer Dexter’s annual conference here earlier this year.
Western State Design received the 2016 #1 in Dexter Sales Worldwide award, marking the 10th consecutive year that the Hayward, Calif.-based distributor has been so honored. The company also received the 2016 Chairman’s Award for sales of Dexter equipment exceeding $10 million (for a record fourth time).
“We are truly honored to be recognized as Dexter Laundry’s top producer in 2016,” says Todd Hyrn, Western State Design vice president. “Our sales specialists, along with the rest of our staff, are committed to providing our customers with the best commercial and coin-op laundry equipment solutions available.”
Laundry Pro of Florida was named the 2016 World Wide Distributor of the Year by Dexter. Laundry Pro became a Dexter distributor in 1996, winning the Rookie of the Year award then. Twenty years later, Andy Kretz, CEO and president of Dexter Apache Holdings, and Craig Kirchner, president of Dexter Laundry Inc., presented the award to the distributor that best represents growth, dedication and investment in the industry.
Ron Jansen, president of Laundry Pro of Florida, sent more than 70% of his staff for training to promote DexterLive controls and the manufacturer’s Dexter Express equipment. And each year, his company presents a themed customer appreciation show featuring Dexter products.
