WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems Acquires American Meter & Appliance

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems (WASH) reports that it has acquired American Meter & Appliance, which allows the expansion of WASH to the Pacific Northwest region: Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho and Montana.

“The acquisition of American Meter & Appliance gives WASH an opportunity to re-enter the market in the Pacific Northwest," says Adam Coffey, WASH president/CEO. We already have a deep familiarity with the marketplace, and with this added density, we can maximize synergies with our existing branch office in Vancouver, Canada.”

“American Meter’s long history and solid reputation within the region makes this an ideal acquisition opportunity and important milestone in our national expansion strategy,” he adds.

Both of the companies provide laundry services to the multifamily housing market, having a combined 123 years of experience, according to WASH.

Of the transition, Duke Vogt, president of American Meter & Appliance, says, “WASH was a friendly competitor for many years, and now that the time has come to sell the business, we are confident that they will continue to deliver the same high-quality services that American Meter & Appliance has become known for.”
