WASH Appoints District Sales Managers in Houston, Sacramento, Chicago

Hustedt, LaBraé, Hatch called on to serve customers, expand sales growth

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Laundry facilities management service company WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems has named three new district sales managers in recent weeks.

Michael Hustedt was appointed for the Houston region of Texas. He’ll be based in WASH’s new Houston branch office and will be responsible for serving the laundry management needs of area customers while expanding sales growth.

“Michael brings operational proficiency to his new role as well as a strong selling aptitude and an outstanding reputation within the greater Houston market,” says Steve Jungclas, WASH’s regional vice president of sales. “Having previously worked for the company in Houston, Michael has in-depth industry experience that will be invaluable to our customers in the region.”

Hustedt previously served as Houston branch manager with the company, as well as regional sales/operations manager for the Southern Texas markets. Most recently, he served as planned maintenance manager at the University of Houston.

Newcomer Michael LaBraé joins WASH as district sales manager for the Sacramento, Calif., region.

“I’m delighted that Michael has joined our Northwest sales team and am confident that he will have a successful career at WASH,” says Jungclas. “His background and skills are an ideal fit for our team and for the needs of our customers throughout the Sacramento region.”

LaBraé comes to WASH with more than 25 years of experience in the multi-family industry as a regional property manager and vendor partner. Most recently, he served in business development leadership roles with Marina Landscape Inc. and ValleyCrest Landscape. He has a bachelor of science degree in communications from Portland State University, which he attended on a football scholarship.

Byron Hatch joins WASH as district sales manager for the greater Chicago area.

“We’re delighted to have Byron join WASH to manage the needs of our customers throughout the Chicago region,” comments Ross Van Horne, WASH’s managing director of business development and regional vice president of sales in the Midwest region. “His knowledge and diverse skill set will be an asset to our team and to our customers.”

Hatch served in numerous roles during a 17-year career at Whirlpool Corp., including positions as factory service technician, field service representative for the New York market, and as a business systems consultant. Within Whirlpool’s commercial laundry division, he held the positions of technical communications manager, national sales manager, business and innovation manager, and senior product development manager, deploying the first implementation of a SAP CRM Internet-based business reporting application.

He also has served as sales and marketing manager at Staber Industries, a laundry equipment manufacturer based in Groveport, Ohio.
