TCATA Conference Aims to Create ‘Path to the Future’

Association to celebrate centennial during late April event

TAMPA, Florida — The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) will celebrate its 100 years of service during its 2020 Educational & Management Conference at the Westin Hilton Head Island on April 29-May 2. The annual event—this year themed Creating a Path to the Future—will provide a strong business program, robust networking opportunities and enjoyable social activities, TCATA says.

Since its founding in 1920 as the Laundry & Cleaners Allied Trades Association, TCATA has represented manufacturers and distributors of drycleaning and laundry equipment and supplies.

TCATA says Conference Chair Mack Magnus of M&B Hangers and Business Co-Chairs Trevor and Canessa Hericks of Fabriclean Supply have organized two days of exceptional speakers who will guide attendees as they chart successful paths to the future.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event is John R. DiJulius III, president of The DiJulius Group, a customer service consulting firm that works with companies such as Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and Ritz-Carlton. Considered an authority on world-class customer service, DiJulius will discuss the important of customer service and how to deliver said service that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Another speaker will be Ralph Nappi, presenting Tools and Techniques for Creating Your Organization’s Strategic Plan. The best companies in any industry credit a clear and concise plan for their success, TCATA says. Created with and for key stakeholders, an effective strategic plan provides the engagement and buy-in that is necessary for success. Nappi will share templates, techniques and tools to help attendees drive a successful process within their organizations.
