Collaboration, education to intersect at ‘Summit of Possibilities’ in August

NAPLES, Fla. — The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) is aiming high — literally and figuratively — for its next annual gathering.

“Summit of Possibilities” will be the theme for its 2026 Management & Educational Conference, scheduled for Aug. 2–5 at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C.

Organizers say the theme reflects both the mountain backdrop and the broader direction of the textile care sector, where innovation, strategic planning and collaboration are becoming increasingly critical for the manufacturers, distributors and allied trades businesses that the international trade association represents.

“‘Summit of Possibilities’ captures exactly where our industry is headed,” says Conference Chair Wes Nelson, president of Sankosha USA. “It’s about coming together to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and uncover new opportunities that move our businesses and our industry forward.”

“Our annual conference is where collaboration and education intersect,” adds TCATA President Mack Magnus. “In 2026, we’re excited to build on that tradition in a setting that inspires big thinking and meaningful connections.”

A key component will be the educational program being developed by the Business Committee, led by Kristen Vos, executive vice president of R.R. Street & Co. Attendees can expect sessions featuring timely and practical business insights, industry expertise, and peer-to-peer engagement.

The Asheville location may also play a role in encouraging that exchange. Known for its scenic mountain views and historic charm, it offers a retreat-style atmosphere that lends itself to conversation outside the classroom — whether over meals, on terraces or during informal networking gatherings.

Additional details on speakers, session topics and registration are expected to roll out in the coming months. Updates will be posted on TCATA’s website.
