Standard Change-Makers Closes Regional Service Support Operations

INDIANAPOLIS — Standard Change-Makers Inc. is closing its regional service support centers in Aston, Pa., and Santa Fe Springs, Calif., as well as the service center in St. Laurent, Quebec. The company’s Indianapolis facility will handle all U.S. service phone support, as well as parts orders and repairs. In addition, the Indianapolis service department is expanding to accommodate the increased traffic.“We regret having to close our regional service centers,” says Jim McNutt Jr., president/chief executive officer of Standard Change-Makers. “It has been part of our company’s culture and commitment to customer service since our inception. However, the current economic circumstances have forced us to ‘get leaner’ as a company, and this was a very difficult decision that had to be made.”U.S. customers will be able to speak with a service technician during expanded service hours from 8:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. EST. Several of Standard’s authorized Canadian distributors will provide service support for Canadian customers. Standard asks customers to contact Paul Thompson, Canadian regional sales manager, for a recommended service distributor close to their area by calling 514-502-0124.All U.S. service-related shipments should be directed to the Indianapolis facility at 3130 N. Mitthoeffer Road, Indianapolis, IN 46235.“Many of our customers have dealt with several of our Indianapolis staff at one time or another, and we will be working hard to ensure that this transition will not be a difficult adjustment for them” McNutt says. “Our Indianapolis team will continue to provide the same high level of service support that leads the industry and that all Standard customers have come to expect — regardless of where they are located.”The regional sales managers serving the U.S. and Canada will continue to do so, operating within the territories via virtual offices. Their new contact information will be forwarded as soon as it’s confirmed, and will also be posted on the “contact” page of the company website, www.standardchange.com
