Speed Queen Broadens Distributor’s Territory

25 western Indiana counties now part of Hermes’ service area

RIPON, Wis. — Commercial laundry equipment brand Speed Queen recently expanded the Indiana territory served by Hermes Commercial Laundry Equipment, headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois.

Owned by Leo Hermes and Mark Wilkins, Hermes provides commercial laundry equipment for a number of industries.

“We’re very pleased and excited to expand our focus with this new territory in Indiana,” says Robert Mattocks, vice president of sales and marketing for Hermes Equipment. “Together with Speed Queen, a global leader in commercial laundry, the Hermes team will bring its sales, parts, and service expertise to Laundromat owners and investors throughout western Indiana, Illinois and eastern Iowa.”

The distributor will now serve Speed Queen customers in the Indiana counties of Benton, Clay, Daviess, Dubois, Fountain, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Pike, Posey, Putnam, Spencer, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Vanderburgh, Vermillion, Vigo, Warrant, Warrick and White.

This comes a year after Hermes accepted the Northern Illinois territory (outside Chicagoland) for Speed Queen vended equipment.
