South Carolina Resort to Host TCATA Conference in April

Event will also celebrate organization’s 100th anniversary

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) has scheduled its 2022 Educational & Management Conference for April 3-6 at the Wild Dunes Resort at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina.

The event will also mark the 100-year anniversary of TCATA, an international trade association representing manufacturers and distributors of laundry and drycleaning equipment and supplies, as well as related trades. Because of the pandemic, the celebration was delayed from 2020, TCATA’s actual centennial year.

In response to member feedback, TCATA has modified the conference schedule to a new Sunday-through-Wednesday pattern, shortening the conference by one day.

Keynote speaker will be John R. DiJulius III. DiJulius, considered an authority on world-class customer service, is the president of The DiJulius Group, a customer service consulting firm that works with companies like Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, The Ritz-Carlton, Nestle, PwC, Lexus and others. He is also the founder and owner of John Robert’s Spa, named one of the top 20 salons in America.

DiJulius has written several books relating to the customer service industry, including The Customer Service Revolution: Overthrow Conventional Business, Inspire Employees, and Change the World; The Relationship Economy: Building Stronger Customer Connections in the Digital Age; and What’s the Secret?: To Providing a World-Class Customer Experience.

More conference details will become available on the TCATA website as the event nears, the association says.
