FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Setomatic Systems Inc. has acquired all assets of eWash Cashless Payment Systems LLC, a supplier of cashless payment systems to the car wash industry. Jeffrey North, former CEO of eWash, will stay on with Setomatic.“This was an obvious choice for us here at Setomatic,” says Michael Schantz, president of Setomatic. “We have been working closely with eWash for over a decade and like what they bring to the table from the car wash market.”The focus of the newly merged company will be to bring the latest in payment technologies to both the coin laundry and car wash markets.“Our primary objective will be to move away from PC and hard-wired payment systems and focus on emerging wireless and Internet based systems,” says North. “Today’s operator is busier than ever and needs to have the most streamlined ‘hands-off’ systems available to them.”
