Rogers Retires from Statewide Laundry Equipment After 20 Years

Helped distributor to evolve in Florida marketplace

MIAMI — Jim Rogers, vice president of sales for commercial laundry equipment distributor Statewide Laundry Equipment, has retired after 20 years of service, the company reports.

Rogers helped the Statewide team evolve in the Florida marketplace where it has locations in Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. The company last year also opened a Smyrna, Georgia, office.

He was instrumental in creating and improving Statewide’s open houses held annually in March and September, the company says. A favorite memory was Rogers urging the crowd to chant “Ooh-aah” before a prize was awarded to an attendee.

“His fun personality, passion, positive attitude and experience will surely be missed,” says President Frank D’Annunzio. “We wish him the best in his retirement.”

David Chadsey has transitioned into the VP of sales role and his responsibilities have been expanded to include the Georgia and Carolina Speed Queen territories, the company says.
