Pro Quarterback Auditions for Maytag Repairman Role

CHICAGO, Ill. — When you are a backup to arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, you have some time on your hands. Jim Sorgi, world-champion Indianapolis Colts backup to Peyton Manning, was one of about 200 men who auditioned in Chicago to be the new Maytag Repairman.Sorgi has joked to the media that he would be the ideal Maytag Repairman since he's used to being bored as he waits for something to do.Sorgi attended the recent auditions as part of a promotional agreement with Whirlpool and went through the process like everyone else.
