XENIA, Ohio — Xenia Laundromat/Dog Wash, which celebrated its grand opening this month, has added a new extra-profit center to its business — a self-service dog-wash machine.“Happy dogs mean happy people,” says Mia Kessen, owner of Xenia Dog Wash. “We see how popular the concept is becoming in Europe and Australia and wanted to bring the idea to Ohio.”For $10, dogs can be washed, rinsed, dried and rid of fleas in a matter of minutes. It’s all done in an easy-to-use, self-contained, self-serve dog-washing unit that is designed to keep the dog happy and safe.“Dog owners treat their dogs like part of the family, and we wanted to make sure they have a place to get their dogs clean and have fun at the same time,” says Kessen. Xenia Dog Wash is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
