N.S. Farrington & Co. Acquires Fuller Supply Co.

North Carolina distributors complete deal

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — N.S. Farrington & Co. Inc. reports that it has acquired the business assets of Fuller Supply Co. Inc., Concord, N.C. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 1951, N.S. Farrington is a wholesale distributor of industrial laundry and drycleaning supplies serving North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Georgia. The company says it prides itself on its “comprehensive in-stock product lines and a customer-first focus.”

Founded in 1946, Fuller Supply has served laundry and drycleaning customers throughout the Carolinas for 70 years.

That operation is shutting down and will be “rolled into” N.S. Farrington’s main facility here in Winston-Salem, according to John Erskine, N.S. Farrington president. His company did not acquire the Fuller Supply property in Concord, he adds.

“The acquisition of Fuller Supply enhances our ability to serve the needs of commercial laundry and drycleaning customers more seamlessly throughout our service area,” Erskine says.

As a part of the acquisition, Tom Little, who has owned Fuller Supply since 1985, will join N.S. Farrington as a leader on its business development team.

“Tom Little has proven to be a dedicated and knowledgeable steward for this industry for over 28 years, and we are pleased to have him join our team,” Erskine says.

Five Fuller Supply employees have accepted positions with N.S. Farrington, and Fuller’s remaining former employees are being offered “generous packages” as part of the deal, according to Erskine. His company’s employee count now stands at 38.
