RIPON, Wis. — Alliance Laundry Systems reports that it is promoting Craig Madson to North American sales manager of Speed Queen Multi-Housing.
“Craig has been a valuable asset to Alliance for many years and his experience with sales and customer relations made him an ideal candidate to fill such an important role,” says William Bittner, vice president of North American sales for Alliance. “We look forward to Craig’s continued success and congratulate him on his new assignment.”
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Madson joined Alliance in 2003, most recently serving as the company’s national accounts sales manager where he coordinated sales activities.
In his new post, he will oversee Speed Queen equipment sales to Laundry Service Providers (LSP) in the U.S. and Canada, who support laundry room facilities, including apartment properties, college and university residence halls and military bases.
Madson will succeed Chuck Melton, a 42-year veteran of the company, who will retire this year, and has served “as an important and respected leader in the multi-housing laundry industry, and at Alliance,” the company says.
“I want to thank Chuck for his years of service and dedication to Alliance Laundry Systems, and wish him the very best in his retirement,” says Bittner. “While he will be deeply missed, he has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with family and friends.”
“While I have big shoes to fill, I am looking forward to helping our LSP customers in this segment grow their businesses and, in turn, support their customers,” says Madson.
