Loads of Clothes Opens in Fort Lauderdale Suburb

First-time owner Williams works with Aaxon to get store up and running

DAVIE, Fla. — First-time laundry owner Chris Williams celebrated the grand opening of his Loads of Clothes Laundromat here in this Fort Lauderdale suburb in January. The store operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and features 35 Huebsch washers and dryers.

Williams worked with Frank P. D’Annunzio, a consultant from Aaxon Laundry Systems, to open the store. The grand opening celebration include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and formal announcement of the laundry’s opening.

“There’s nothing like seeing the excited face of a laundry owner, especially a first-time one, who announces the grand opening of his store,” says D’Annunzio. “Especially when they get to cut a giant ribbon to make it officially official!”

Loads of Clothes attracts customers of all ethnicities and diverse income levels, the owner says, and its convenient wash/dry/fold service and drycleaning service have proven to be popular in the neighborhood.
