INWOOD, N.Y. — Laundrylux, the North American supplier of Electrolux and Wascomat laundry equipment, reports it has acquired the assets of Washington-based distributor CESCO NW. Terms were not disclosed.
“Laundrylux is delighted to partner with Rich Boyd, who we have worked with for many years, to turbocharge the Pacific Northwest market and accelerate growth in the Western USA,” says Laundrylux CEO John Sabino.
“CESCO goes back decades with Wascomat and Electrolux professional laundry, so this makes perfect sense,” Boyd says. “I welcome the opportunity to become an investor in Laundrylux’s consolidation of multi-brand professional laundry distribution nationwide. The future is here and I’m excited to be part of it!”
It’s the second distributor acquisition announced by Laundrylux this month.
“We have announced two acquisitions, with many more in development, and every transaction includes experienced management continuing to run their business,” says Neal Milch, Laundrylux executive chairman. “With access to Laundrylux’s many resources and capabilities, we are confident even greater success is assured.
“Rich will participate in Laundrylux’s nationwide growth and future liquidity options, and we invite interested forward-thinking distributors — regardless of brands represented — to contact us to discuss joining the Laundrylux team.”
Laundrylux says it is the largest integrated independent distributor of professional laundry equipment in the world, with 65 years of experience in distribution; product and technology development; financing; equipment leasing; coin-op laundry development; on-premise laundry development; and wet cleaning.
It currently serves the U.S., Canadian and Mexican markets.
