HappyNest Picks Up More Laundromat Partners

Pickup/delivery service adds locations in several states

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest continues to expand, announcing in recent weeks that its services are now available in new locations in several states.

HappyNest is now available in Nevada via new laundromat partner Laundry King in Las Vegas. Its West Owens Avenue facility on the west side of Vegas is 4,300 square feet and houses 43 high-efficiency washers and 53 dryers. The highly detail-oriented staff is well equipped to handle a wide variety of needs to ensure goods are done to customer requirements, says owner Adolfo Cobian.

“When we determined it was time to expand our business to pickup and delivery, we were happy to select HappyNest,” Cobian says. “We look forward to building our pickup and delivery customers with HappyNest’s support.”

HappyNest’s consumer-friendly mobile app allows residents and businesses to easily auto-schedule pickup and delivery each week or by request. Customers simply put dirty clothes, towels and/or bedding in a HappyNest-provided laundry bag and drop it on their doorstep or other agreed-upon location. HappyNest returns it clean and folded the next day.

HappyNest has added a second partner in the Dallas area. Rapido Rabbit is serving customers in Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Irving and certain areas of Dallas.

“We are grateful to expand our services to include pickup and delivery laundry services in the communities northwest of Dallas,” says Randall Chaffee, owner of Rapido Rabbit LLC.

His company has laundromat locations in Dallas and in Farmers Branch that are supporting pickup and delivery services. Both facilities have the latest in washing-drying technology, including ozone sanitizing, according to HappyNest. Each location is 4,500 square feet with a total of 92 washers and 89 dryers – well equipped to handle large pickup-and-delivery volume.

HappyNest has expanded to East Sacramento, California, via new partner The GRID Laundry. Its facility on T Street is serving various communities in that area.

The GRID Laundry has been operating for two years and houses 18 washers and 16 dryers. Its experienced staff prides itself on timely service and is ready to handle a large volume of pickup and delivery laundry orders, HappyNest says.

“We were ready to expand our laundromat business and felt that HappyNest is the best partner to grow with pickup and delivery laundry services,” says Swai Swailim, owner of GRID Laundry.

Meanwhile, in northern San Jose, Calif., Safi Laundry has signed on to offer HappyNest service to residents and businesses in Alviso, Milpitas, Santa Clara, and several northern San Jose ZIP codes.

“The laundry business is ripe for disruption and there is a ton of opportunity, especially when it comes to technology,” says Anita Kibunguchy-Grant, owner of Safi Laundry. “We know that a modern, clean, and friendly business model like ours can really change a community for the better.”

Safi Laundry attributes its success so far in part to using Yelp, Google My Business and its own business website, plus the special care taken by its staff. Safi’s North Jackson Avenue facility is 2,400 square feet, has 55 high-efficiency machines, and offers eco-friendly detergent options.

HappyNest’s service is now available in Sanford, Florida, via new partner Nice Day Laundromat and Cleaners. The South French Avenue facility has been in operation in central Florida for more than 30 years. Lake Mary, Oviedo and Deltona, among other areas, also now have access to HappyNest.

“The future is technology, and we want to increase our wash, dry, and fold business using the latest technology,” says Premal Patel, owner of Nice Day Laundromat. “That’s why we decided to partner with HappyNest next-day pickup and delivery laundry services.”

The 3,000-square-foot facility in Sanford houses 40 washers and 32 dryers. The operation specializes in commercial businesses, serving restaurants, car washes, nursing homes, golf courses, and others.

HappyNest says it is attracting laundromats across the country that are looking to increase sales and utilize equipment downtime through pickup and delivery.
