HappyNest Names Ricci Director of Customer Experience

Most recently worked for restaurant customer management platform

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Technology-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest has hired Kyle Ricci to fill the position of director, customer experience.

He most recently served as manager of customer success at Upserve, a restaurant customer management platform based in Rhode Island.

“The customer experience in our industry is the most essential piece to being successful, and Kyle will become our point person in assuring we are providing the best customer service in the industry,” says HappyNest co-founder John MacKrell. “Geoff Fudge and I are thrilled to have Kyle join the HappyNest Management team heading into our most important year yet.”

Ricci, a Rhode Island native, has an economics degree from Wheaton College. During his four-plus years with Upserve, he was responsible for growing adoption of the platform and products as well as maintaining customer retention.

While managing 8,000-plus accounts, Ricci’s team helped restaurant owners understand and utilize the key features and analytics of the platform to make their businesses successful and keep customers coming back.

While comfortable in a start-up business environment, Ricci says he’s looking forward to learning more operational aspects and helping grow another local small business.

“I am looking forward to building more relationships and learning from a new set of small-business owners on the HappyNest team,” he adds. “I can’t wait to get started.”
