HappyNest Continues to Add Laundromat Partners

Cities in Ohio, Texas, NY are latest to offer brand’s pickup/delivery service

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest continues to expand, announcing in recent weeks that its services are now available in new locations in Ohio, Texas and New York.

HappyNest is now available in Kent and Akron, Ohio, via new laundromat partner Laundry 101. That business is also providing HappyNest next-day service to surrounding towns in Portage and Summit counties, including Cuyahoga Falls, Twinsburg and Streetsboro. The service is already well-established in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and areas of Cleveland.

Laundry 101 is well-equipped to service Kent and Akron residents and businesses with its 2,400-square-foot location and 54 washers and dryers, HappyNest says.

“HappyNest has the perfect combination of pickup and delivery infrastructure, software platform, marketing and customer services for laundromat partners,” says Gary Gardner, who co-owns Laundry 101 with four other people. “HappyNest is a great fit for adding pickup and delivery services, and it is also perfect timing to expand our laundry business.”

HappyNest service is now available in San Antonio, Texas, via new laundromat partner High Spin Wash & Dry, owned by Robert Hinojosa. HappyNest has been successfully serving the Houston area, the company adds.

“HappyNest has created a pickup and delivery service formula that works for its partners and customers,” says Hinojosa. “HappyNest’s support by everyone to get our locations up and running in San Antonio has been top-notch.”

HappyNest is serving San Antonio through two High Spin Wash & Dry locations, one on Lanark Drive, the other on Evers Road. The locations feature over 100 washers and dryers combined in 7,000 square feet.

In central Long Island, N.Y., HappyNest has expanded via new partner The Laundry Closet. Its pickup and delivery services are now available on the east end of Suffolk County, from Bay Shore to Sayville to East Setauket.

“We decided to partner with HappyNest because we believe in the brand and mission of the company, providing a quality, convenient, and affordable laundry service that allows customers to eliminate laundry from their lives,” says Lawonda Billings, owner of The Laundry Closet.

Located in Farmingdale, N.Y., the business occupies 1,550 square feet with 18 washers and 20 dryers. The Laundry Closet has been offering drop-off service for the last year, adding pickup and delivery laundry service to meet demand in the area.

“Long Island has been a popular region for HappyNest pickup and delivery services, so we are happy to welcome The Laundry Closet to service an extended area,” says John MacKrell, CEO and founder of HappyNest, who similarly congratulated the new partners in Ohio and Texas.

Since 2018, HappyNest has been expanding throughout the U.S., working with local laundromat partners that have been picking up dirty laundry and washing, drying, folding, and dropping it all back off at the doorstep of their busy customers. Laundromat owners are able to increase sales by utilizing equipment during low-demand times.
