HappyNest Continues to Add Laundromat Partners

Pickup/delivery service expands with additions in several states

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — Tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service HappyNest continues to expand, announcing in recent weeks that its services are now available in new locations in several states.

Jahlour Wash and Fold, Bronx, New York, is converting its current pickup and delivery service to HappyNest. In operation for two years, the family-owned laundromat that has 21 high-efficiency machines has been supporting its customers throughout the challenges of the pandemic.

“We believe HappyNest can help us reach many new customers,” says Daisy Alvarenga, owner of Jahlour Wash and Fold. “We suspect many homes in our area will benefit from our pickup and delivery services provided with HappyNest’s support.”

HappyNest is now serving many customers in Lake County, Illinois, north of Chicago via new laundromat partner Ellie’s 24 Hour Spin n’ Wash. That facility covers 4,600 square feet and houses 53 high-efficiency washers (ranging from 20 to 80 pounds) and 27 double stack dryers. Its staff uses eco-friendly detergent and tends to all details when providing wash/fold/delivery service.

“We have been in operation for four years and offering pickup and delivery service for more than a year,” says Ellie’s owner Larry Singer. “The chance to partner with a national brand like HappyNest is not something that comes along every day.”

HappyNest’s growth momentum continues in Texas with the addition of partner Coin Laundry Co. The McKinney, Texas-based facility is providing the service in Dallas and many areas of Collin County, including Garland, Plano and Frisco.

“We’ve launched a brand new laundromat this year, and HappyNest provides a turnkey operation in a new area for us: pickup and delivery,” says Leanna Bradley, owner of Coin Laundry Co.

The laundry houses 36 washers and 38 dryers in a 3,000-square-foot facility. The business offers specialty detergents to ensure customers’ laundry is cleaned just the way they want.

HappyNest is now available in Richmond, Virginia, via laundromat partner SuperSuds. The Richmond-based facility is also serving Chester, Chesterfield, Henrico and Midlothian. Earlier this year, HappyNest expanded in Prince William County via SuperSuds in Woodbridge; SuperSuds has 23 locations from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Richmond.

“We’ve been in the laundry business for 25 years,” says Jennie Jimenez, manager of three locations in Virginia and Maryland. “HappyNest allows me to focus on my laundromats as well as (gives me) the freedom to run my business without it being overwhelming.”

HappyNest is growing in Tennessee, now available in Memphis via Berclair Coin Laundry. Owner Joshua Tate manages eight laundromat locations, and Berclair has been in operation for three years. The 1,500-square-foot facility that is processing HappyNest orders houses 35 washers and dryers.

“I was looking to add a revenue stream and partnering with HappyNest for pickup and delivery service seems like the ideal choice,” says Tate. “We are thrilled to have their support in growing our pickup and delivery laundry business.”

Durham, North Carolina, residents can now take advantage of HappyNest service via new partner Regency Cleaners.

“Regency Cleaners has been providing professional drycleaning and laundromat services in Durham since 1930,” says Rita Foley, Regency’s owner. “We decided to partner with HappyNest to further grow our laundromat business in the community with more efficient pickup and delivery.”

Foley has been in the laundromat business for 37 years and owns five locations in Durham. The North Duke Street facility that processes HappyNest orders covers 4,200 square feet and features 30 washers and 32 dryers.

HappyNest says it works with local, efficient laundromat partners who are meeting the demand for pickup and delivery laundry services, while utilizing machines during slower times, subsequently boosting sales.
