DALLAS — On-demand laundry services platform Hampr is moving to more tightly integrate digital demand with physical operations through a newly announced partnership and acquisition involving SoCal Laundromats.
The deal combines Hampr’s technology-driven on-demand platform — operating across 20 states — with brick-and-mortar infrastructure and local operating partners.
As part of the transition, Brandon Brahms has been named CEO and Kris Triplett CTO, while Laurel Hess shifts to founder and president.
Hampr’s platform serving residential and commercial clients is designed to route orders, manage capacity and optimize performance using real-time data and AI. By adding physical facilities — beginning with two planned California launches this year — the combined company will integrate Hampr’s national demand engine with owned and partner-operated facilities.
“By leveraging AI and the data from our platform, we can intelligently route demand, streamline operations, and create a more seamless experience for customers,” says Hess. “This is a highly fragmented market, and bringing these pieces together allows us to build something fundamentally stronger.”
Hampr’s brand strength and ability to generate demand at scale immediately stood out to Brahms.
“That's incredibly difficult to build — and incredibly valuable,” he says. “By combining that demand layer with dedicated infrastructure, we’re creating a model that is not only more reliable, but also far more scalable. This positions us to lead the next phase of innovation in the laundry industry and creates massive opportunities for our localized laundry partner facilities.”
Company leadership says the model is intended to support, not replace, independent operators by connecting them to a broader network. Partners gain access to demand, shared data insights and streamlined workflows, while the platform benefits from localized execution.
Hampr describes the approach as a “nationally connected, locally executed” network — an effort to link independent laundries under a unified system.
While initial expansion is focused on California, the company is seeking additional partners nationwide as it scales across its multi-state footprint.
