INWOOD, N.Y. — Electrolux has once again been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSWI), a stock portfolio that includes the top 10% of the world’s 2,500 largest companies. Our most important contribution toward a more sustainable world is to continue to develop and produce energy-efficient appliances.”According to the DJSWI, Electrolux demonstrates outstanding performance in particular brand management, environmental management systems, stakeholder engagement and standards for suppliers.The DJSWI follows a best-in-class approach and includes sustainability leaders from each industry on a global and regional level. The evaluation is based on criteria such as climate change strategies, energy consumption, human resources development, knowledge management, stakeholder relations and corporate governance.
