Eastern Funding Promotes Miles to Assistant Vice President

Lender adds to operations team as business expands

NEW YORK — Commercial equipment finance company Eastern Funding reports it has promoted credit team leader David Miles to assistant vice president.

In seven years with Eastern Funding, Miles has served as credit analyst and then senior credit analyst. As assistant vice president, he will continue to oversee the credit team, while working more closely with Eastern Funding’s executive management.

The company also has promoted Gee Chai to senior credit analyst and Benjamin Davis to documentation specialist.

“At Eastern Funding, we believe the talent and dedication of our team are what makes us great,” says Nancy Robles-Guess, vice president of operations. “Our commitment to the individual professional growth of all our team members ensures that our customers are always served by one of the best financing teams in the industry.”

Eastern Funding says it has been expanding its operations staff with new hires in its loan servicing, credit analysis, documentation and funding groups. These moves are designed to strengthen its capabilities and to provide its growing customer base with the financing solutions they need more efficiently and seamlessly, the company says.

Eastern Funding, a subsidiary of Brookline Bank, lends to laundry, drycleaning, grocery, specialty vehicle and other businesses nationwide. It has financed more than $1.6 billion for new equipment, store acquisitions, real estate transactions, refinance and more since its inception in 1997.
