Distributors Adjust Spring Show Plans Due to COVID-19

Statewide Laundry consolidates to one-day event, Star Distributing moves online

CHICAGO — Two laundry equipment distributors are still having their upcoming spring shows but with some adjustments due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Statewide Laundry Equipment, headquartered in Florida, has updated its plans for two separate shows this month into a single, one-day event now scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.

Previously, separate shows were planned for April 7 at a Championsgate, Florida, hotel and April 29 at a Charlotte, North Carolina, hotel.

Now, guests are invited to visit one of the Statewide offices in Orlando, Tampa, or Smyrna, Georgia; Statewide will adhere to governmental recommendations regarding gatherings and social distancing.

Consultants are available now with discounted show specials on equipment and financing. Show pricing on parts and soap will be available online and at the specified Statewide offices on the show date; orders can be called in or e-mailed prior to the event.

For more information, visit Statewide’s website.

Meanwhile, Star Distributing, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is maintaining its previously scheduled Spring Show dates of April 28 and April 30 but shifting to a virtual experience. The distributor will host its first-ever Virtual Trade Show beginning at 10 a.m. on both dates.

Presentations by Speed Queen and Setomatic Systems representatives are planned. Attendees will receive a parts credit but must RSVP by supplying their e-mail address via a form on Star Distributing’s website (if you encounter any problems registering online, call 800-897-7570 for assistance).

A brochure with more information is available here.
