Distributor Laundry One Hosts First Open House, Opens Branch Office

New Indianapolis location expands service to Ohio, Ind., Ky. markets

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Commercial laundry equipment distributor Laundry One recently hosted its first-ever open house and service school, drawing around 100 store owners and managers, the company reports.

Presentations included Industry Trends: 10 Ways to Increase Store Profitability (Michael Sokolowski, Coin Laundry Association), Section 179 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act (Dexter Financial director of portfolio development), and a Tour of America’s Most Unique Laundries (Laurance Cohen, American Coin-Op columnist).

Laundry One says Dexter’s line of products was a “hot topic,” as store owners discussed how to achieve greater performance, efficiency and financial success. Setomatic Systems, Imonex, NATCO, Monarch Coin & Security and Card Concepts (CCI) were among the other exhibitors on hand.

A selection of Central Ohio’s top-rated food trucks provided food, and store owners who pre-registered for the event were entered into a drawing to win Laundry One cash credits toward equipment, parts and service.

“We are thankful for all the people who attended the open house and benefitted from our passion and comprehensive knowledge about the industry,” says Kelly Kantor, Laundry One marketing director.

The company is planning a lineup of spring 2019 service schools that it will host at the Laundry One Training Center.

Laundry One now has a new and fully staffed branch office in Indianapolis, opened in September. The company serves the vended, on-premises and multi-housing laundry markets throughout Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

“We are pleased to announce Laundry One’s expansion to a second branch in Indianapolis,” says General Manager Daniel Duckworth. “We’ve been pleased to have such a tremendous amount of growth in such a short period of time. We can attribute that to our extremely dedicated team and strong manufacturer relationships.”

“Dexter Laundry is very excited to support Laundry One’s expansion to the Indianapolis branch and is impressed with how well the business is being run by the experienced Laundry One team,” says Rick Case, Dexter regional sales manager.
