On-Demand Laundry Service Expands in Metro Areas

WashClub now serving customers in Staten Island, NJ counties, Chicago

NEW YORK — Premium on-demand laundry, drycleaning and tailoring service WashClub reports that it has opened for business across Staten Island and Union and Hudson counties in New Jersey, as well as the city of Chicago.

Customers can place orders through WashClub’s mobile app or website. The order processing system provides consumers with the option to note general or specific care instructions for their items. WashClub does all laundry in-house and does not outsource to third-party vendors, the company says. It alerts customers up to 30 minutes prior to pickup/drop-off and will deliver directly to them or to their doorman within 24-48 hours.

“We’re proud to bring our innovative technology and services to Staten Island and north New Jersey and increase our presence in the New York metro area,” explains Rick Rome, founder and president of WashClub. “As the demand for delivery services grow, we’ll continue to see a dramatic change in consumption patterns for laundry and drycleaning not only in New York City but nationwide, with customers increasingly reliant on rapid solutions.”

Regarding its arrival in Chicago, WashClub says it represents its first move into the Midwest.

“There’s simply nothing like Chicago,” Rome says. “Our core business is focused on in-house quality of cleaning, technology and logistics; we’re confident that this will improve the way Chicagoans do laundry and dry cleaning.”
