Continental Promotes Kilgore to Director of Customer Experiences

Leads manufacturer in ongoing commitment to customer relations

OSKHOSH, Wis. — Commercial laundry equipment manufacturer Continental Girbau Inc. reports it recently promoted company veteran Laurie Kilgore to the newly created position of director of customer experiences.

Kilgore spearheads the development and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational customer engagement plans, programs and initiatives.

Continental President Mike Floyd says that with this promotion, Kilgore leads the organization in its ongoing commitment to the customer and nurture’s the company’s customer-centered culture.

“Continental takes pride in developing lifelong distributor and customer relationships,” Floyd says. “We’re a company that’s quickly expanding our product and brand offering. By moving Laurie into this new position, our goal is to continue that growth while maintaining and enhancing our company culture and our customers’ positive experiences.”

“I look forward to working closely with distributors and customers, as well as the Continental team, in order to benchmark and improve customer service procedures and practices across all departments,” Kilgore says.

She joined Continental in 1995, shortly after the company was formed, and has managed its customer care department since 2006.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Kilgore has played a critical role in streamlining communication between Continental and its parent company, Girbau Global Laundry Solutions, based in Vic, Spain. She also regularly assists Spanish-speaking customers throughout Mexico and North America.

Kilgore has a bachelor’s degree, with a major in Spanish and minor in office administration, from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
