OSHKOSH, Wis. — Continental Girbau Inc. recently partnered with two new vended laundry distributors—The Laundry Shop in Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Atlantic Laundry Equipment in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Both companies will represent the ExpressWash®, ExpressDry®, L-Series Washer, G-Flex Washer, Econ-O-Wash, Econ-O-Dry, and LG Platinum Washer/Dryer lines, as well as the Express Laundry Center® brand, Continental reports in a press release.
The Laundry Shop, co-owned by Ron Jansen and George Rionda, provides vended and on-premises laundry equipment, sales, parts and service to the Florida counties of Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie, says Continental. It specializes in developing Express Laundry Centers—turnkey high-speed vended laundries equipped for “lower utilities and greater profit potential.”
The Laundry Shop partners with investors and owners of vended laundries in every aspect of development or renovation, including construction, equipment selection and installation, laundry design, marketing, service, parts and more, Continental says.
“Geographically located in South Florida, The Laundry Shop is operated by industry-trusted vended laundry experts,” says Joel Jorgensen, Continental’s vice president of sales and customer services. “Both Ron and George have successfully sold hundreds of Continental products and vended laundries over the years. They have excellent reputations, follow-through and character. We are happy to be partners with them as they serve South Florida.”
Originally established in 1943 as Harold Snow Service Group—a commercial food and laundry sales, parts and service provider—Atlantic Laundry Equipment became a separate brand focused only on commercial laundry in 2014, according to Continental.
Continental says that Atlantic Laundry Equipment is a one-stop shop for parts, equipment, service and support, providing the manufacturer’s vended and on-premises laundry equipment throughout the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
