Clean 2019 Exhibit Sales on Track to Surpass 2017 Show

Attendee registrations in New Orleans up 6% compared to Vegas two years ago

ATLANTA — With the calendar approaching three months until the Clean Show convenes again in New Orleans, exhibit sales are looking strong, based on a status update provided by longtime show manager Riddle & Associates.

The Clean Show—officially the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning—is the world’s largest exhibition of equipment, products and services for commercial laundry, drycleaning and textile services. It convenes every two years.

More than 400 companies have reserved exhibit space in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for the June 20-23 show, and Riddle says that “sales are on track to surpass the 481 exhibiting companies seen at Clean 2017.”

As of Feb. 25, exhibit space sales for Clean 2019 stood at 95.6% of the final Clean 2017 exhibit space total. That show in Las Vegas marked the first time in 20 years that Clean had sold out its exhibit space—to the tune of 227,006 net square feet.

What about the projected Clean Show attendance in New Orleans? When comparing 2019 registrations with the 2017 show for the same number of days prior to the event, as of March 10, 2019 signups were 6% higher.

If you’re thinking about attending Clean this year, there are still hotel rooms available. Approximately 60% of the Clean 2019 “peak night” rooms have been reserved as of Tuesday. Available housing can be obtained at official hotels in the Convention Center area, Central Business District, and the French Quarter.

Connections Housing is Clean 2019’s only official housing agency. Visit its website to check on availability and make a reservation. May 20 is the housing reservation deadline.
