CLA Sets Stage for Laundry Fest ’13

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. – The Crowne Plaza Minneapolis (Minn.) North is preparing for the 2013 Upper Midwest Laundry Fest, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19, according to the Coin Laundry Association (CLA).

In addition to networking, coin laundry store owners will have the opportunity to attend educational sessions hosted by fellow laundry owners and industry leaders, including CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace; Jeff Gardner, “The Laundry Doctor” and president of the Minnesota CLA; and Jeffrey Barman, president of the Southern California CLA.

Educational session topics will include the state of the industry; Internet marketing; sales tax issues in Minnesota; a three-state legislative update; and best operational practices.

Hosting the event are the Minnesota Coin Laundry Association, the Wisconsin Self Service Laundry Association, the Iowa Self Service Laundry Association, the Illinois Coin Laundry Association and MOKAN Coin Laundry Association, in partnership with the CLA.
