Business Journal Names WASH Laundry’s Buccola CIO Awards Finalist

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The Los Angeles Business Journal has named John Buccola, WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems’ chief information officer (CIO), a finalist in its CIO Awards program, WASH reports.

Buccola is recognized for his work in “transforming” the company’s IT infrastructure “during a phase of rapid and continued expansion,” WASH adds.

He joined WASH 30 days before its largest international acquisition in the company’s 67-year history last year, and overhauled the company’s IT infrastructure through a “massive expansion and international integration,” according to WASH.

“We congratulate John on this well-deserved recognition by the Los Angeles Business Journal,” says Adam Coffey, president & CEO of WASH.

As an integral part of WASH’s senior leadership, Buccola has contributed to the company’s increase in revenue and improved productivity, the company says. Before working at WASH, Buccola served a five-year tenure as CIO of Panavision.

“It is an honor to be in the company of the best and brightest IT executives in the Los Angeles region,” Buccola comments. “This acknowledgement, and the IT milestones that we have achieved at WASH, would not have been possible without the collaboration and support of our team of talented and hard-working employees.”
